Williamson Brothers, The Great Dying, Bon Allinson

Williamson Brothers are Adam and Blake Williamson of Alabama rock band Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires. They have released a first collection of duo material on Mississippi’s Dial Back Sound label. The album and live sound can best be described as noisy indie rock popularized by such bands as Sixteen Deluxe, Teenage Fanclub and Dino Jr. The Great Dying is a country guitar duo led by Mississippi Delta-born songwriter Will Griffith. His dark country song craft evidences a punk and metal upbringing. Shows can keep audiences guessing, reminding some of Dead Moon, Waylon, Magnetic Fields, DBT or The National with any given turn. Solo sets from Bon Allinson. $10 Admission.
